BETHANY'S CONFESSION
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God "and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the one who belongs to God is prepared and able to do every good work". 2. Time. 3:16 a.m.
We believe that Almighty God is a triune God: the Father, the Word – the Son and the Holy Spirit. See, for example, 1 John. 5:7, John 1:1-2, 14, Isa. 48:16-17, Jn. 10:30 John 16:7, John 20:22.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten and sinless Son, born of the Virgin Mary and that He shed His precious blood on the cross and died for our sins. With that, he freed those who believed in him from sin and death. John 3:16, 2 Cor 5:21, Rom. 5:21, End. 1:27-35, Heb. 9:22, Matt. 26:28, Acts. 2:22-36, Col. 2:13-15.
We believe that God the Father by his power raised the Son, Jesus Christ, from the dead. The Son now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Mail. 10:38-40, Matt. 26:64.
We believe that if we confess with our lips and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, we are saved and have eternal life with Him. Rom.10:8-9, Post. 3:19-20.
We believe that it is necessary to be baptized by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, as the apostles did to obey the Lord's baptism command, instead of repeating it. Acts 2:38, 8:12, 9:18, 18:5, Matt. 28:19-20, John 17:6,11.
We believe that all those who confess Jesus Christ can be filled with baptism in the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues as a result. 2:4-11. 1 Cor.12.4-11.
We believe that everyone needs to saturate their spiritual man from the Word of God (the Bible), pray faithfully, engage in good works and strive for what is above, in order to develop spiritually and grow up to the head, which is Christ. Ephesus. 4:13-15, 1. Pete. 2:1-2, 1 Cor. 15:2, Matt. 7:7, Eph. 2:10, Col. 3:1,3.
We believe that it is necessary for all believers to come together in the House of God to have communion with Him as a congregation in unity and love. Post. 2:44, Heb.10:25.
